Kassem Ben Abid holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has over a decade of experience in the AEC industry. He began his career with Besix in Belgium, focusing on structural design calculations for global projects. Transitioning to execution, he worked on projects like The Mall of Egypt, The Khalifa Stadium, and Atlantis The Royal in the Middle East. Throughout, he gained diverse experience and collaborated with industry experts. Currently, as head of the BIM/VDC department at Besix Dubai, he leads a team dedicated to supporting projects worldwide. He strives to ensure that Besix remains innovative by integrating the latest technologies to excel in providing sustainable solutions.
